Development aborted - reentering design phase | Jarek, 17. July 2005 |
Recently I spend many a thought on whether Ghornon's Hammer was going in the direction I wanted it to go. My thoughts were telling me two things: a) No. b) I had not a clear enough vision of the game. That's why I decided to start from scratch. I will go back to design phase and won't leave it before there is a detailed concept of the game. Rather than code or screenshots, there will be UML diagrams and concept art appearing on this site. I know that there is a theory that designing thoroughly in the beginning increases the chances of a game failing before it can get off the ground. I don't think it applies to me. In order to "start from scratch" better, I will remove all links to the "past". |
